Adironadacks Ice Festival




Such a wonderful weekend for the Adirondacks Mountainfest last week! I had the chance to meet fellow AAC members from the NY/BK/DC/Gunks chapters at their annual Icehaus gathering (held in an old Colonial Revival house in Elizabethtown that may or may not have been haunted). With sold out clinics and no set plans, Nacho and I managed to squeeze in toproping sessions in Chapel Pond's Positive Reinforcement and Cascade Lake's Pitchoff Quarry region. Thanks to Maver at Mountain Skills for guiding on Saturday and keeping the stoke high and major kudos to Nacho for his full immersion into all things climbing, rock or ice!

My Pixel 3 got bricked on my Great Range traverse earlier in the week so perhaps that's a story to be told later..
